Menu/background colors
« on: April 18, 2004, 09:52:41 am »

Can the main color. (blue) be changed to white or yellow?

I have bad eyes and the text is blending in with the blue, I have to put my nose up to the screen to read and it doesn't help much  :(

Thanks.... But I was talking about the web, where we are now.

The type. (font) is thin and hard to read on the blue background.

Brice,

As a workaround...you can change the colors of a web page by overriding...which FireFox will do (possibly IE as well). Install FF then go to Tools>Options>General>Fonts & Colors (button)>Text & Background (section). Defaults should be black text and white background. Below that section is two checkboxes that apply that color scheme globally. Check the Always use my...Colors box. Hit the reload page button. Though the use of color is used to delineate sections, you'll find that the page structure is unaffected and easier to read (even for me with good eyes).

edit: FF link...

In IE - Tools/Internet Options/Accessibility should be pretty helpful
