I'm sitting here, after change the album title on some newly converted APE files, staring at the "Please Wait" d-box. MC10 is telling me that it's on 1 of 7 and it hasn't moved for about 5 minutes. Is this normal?

Something else is wrong.

APE files should be faster to tag than about any other format since the tag is at the end of the file.

Hmmm, every other file format tags fine. Anything else I could check. This is the only instance that MC10 hangs (the only instance I've ever had it hang).

Did you create the files with MC 10?

Could you try a few other files?

What does the Action Window > File Properties > File Type Info show?

It only hangs on this set of APE files, the first I've ever compressed.

Otherwise, maybe try ripping inside of MC.

This isn't a problem I've heard before...
