Until a few builds ago there used to be a Recently Ripped list in the tree view which would appear after a CD was ripped. It isn't there any more.

I've no idea if this is by design or if it's a bug - but if this is the former can anybody help me to set up a Smartlist which will perform the same function as it was really useful to find all the new music files in one place to add them to Playlists, re-tag them etc.

There are already predefined smartlists for this:

Playlists --> Audo Smartlists (music) --> Recently Imported -- imported this week
Playlists --> Audo Smartlists (music) --> Recently Imported -- imported today
Playlists --> Audo Smartlists (music) --> Recently Imported -- imported last 100 tracks


Do you not see these?  If not, I'll (try to) post the exact search string needed to generated these smartlists.

Thanks - yes I'm aware of these Smartlists and use them.

But I import files that I've recorded from vinyl as well as ripping from CDs and the Recently Ripped setting allowed me to re-tag etc on a separate basis for the 2 sources of music.

Ah well...
