You might try installing 137 as it is the latest.

If that does not help, post more info than "can't convert". What happens when you try? Any error messages? Converts a few files and stops? I'm sure someone can help with the problem, but complete info certainly makes it easier.

Has it ever worked?
What kind of files have you tried (wav, mp3, ape, etc)?
What do you do to try to convert? Highlight files and right click then choose Convert? Some other way of starting?

Not being a jerk, I just want to try the same and see what could be going wrong.

Indeed you do. Sorry, if you are not able to import or convert, I think you have a bad install, corrupt library, or conflicting settings with some other app. And anything I'd suggest would likely destroy your library. Because what I say at this point is to remove MC completely, delete the JRiver directory and subdirectories,  reboot, install MC fresh.

Hopefully someone else will have a much less drastic solution for you.

Does the track name or filename contain "..."?

No example,

So Far...So Good...So What...

MC used to have a problem with anything that had a "." in the tage or filename.
Not sure if it was fixed.
