updating order in 'playing now' in MC10
« on: June 03, 2004, 06:23:08 am »

is it possible to automatically play tracks in 'playing now' in the order that they are showing/sorted, without having to select 'update order' (as you can under 'media library')?

No.  They will always play in seq order.  Why are you having to re-order stuff?  Make sure that you do not have auto-shuffle switched on.

Also make sure that your source (view scheme, smartlist or playlist) is sorted in the appropriate order before you add tracks to PN.  This way PN will honour that order provided that auto-shuffle is switched off.

No, this stumped me as well a while back.

Matt explained that this would not be desirable and i agree.

If u have a playlist thats already in Playing Now, u could click the column headers to find stuff, or even use the search dialog. BUT the order in which the tracks are playing will not be affected.

This is a good thing otherwise u could inadvertently modify the playing order and have no way to return.

Otherwise u could just drag the tracks up & down...in the PN
