running win Me.           mj7.2  has been running fine (as far as I know) fine for the passed 2yrs.   I just tried to do some recording using mike as input, started having problems with quality.  Too loud and distorted.  Played with vol control both in mj7 and my vol  and wav controls. no luck.
Then I tried to play music from my CD.   No problem.
Tried to play a song from my hard drive.  Got distortion.
Tried it in another player worked fine.
I'am sure I did alot of changes over the passed few years and may have caused this problem. But now I like to know how to reinstall.
Do I uninstall this one.

Then how do I apply the backup license floppy .
It stated in my e-mail dated 2/26/2002 that "License Backup and License Recovery
are both under Help in the progam....I couldn't find it.
Bottom line is do I need to reinstall MJ?

MJ7 told the user to make a back up of there license on a disk if you don't have a floppy disk labeled "My MJ7 License Disk" with the file mediajukebox7.rrg on it, then you may be out of luck.

MJ8 users can restore from the restore page.
