I wrote a sample plugin for the MJ encoder SDK which reverses the track. Contact me via email.
CoolEdit also does this.

"...and then they buried Paul..."

Acoustica will reverse part or all of a wave file.  I was surprised to find that MJ Media Editor doesn't have this tool--I thought it did.

Audacity has reverse as one of its effects. It's pretty good for a free, open-source audio editor.

Long long ago one of my uncle built me disc player.
the turnable had a motor from eletric train.
I was able to have the turnable rotating in both ways.
I was 7 or 8 years old and this was the total  killer for me .
I played lps putting the arm at the end of the record ,back to the begining.

Well the source code is in the encoder SDK which you can download from our developers site. Of course you'd have to have MS Visual studio in order to build it. It's not really releasable code, since I only spent a couple hours on it. Email me if you want a binary of it.

My kids (5 and 8 years old) have lots of fun recording a greeting or a song like Happy Birthday, then reversing it and calling up grandma and grandpa and playing it over the phone. It sounds a little like a space alien speaking with a Swedish accent.
