Video Grab
« on: June 28, 2004, 06:59:49 am »

I seem to recall, or maybe I dreamt it, that there was a facility in an earlier release that would grab a still from a video and use it as the thumbnail for the file.

Is this still there? If so where?

Thanks.

Play the video, pause it and get to the frame you want using the slider.  Selecting the frame as a thumbnail is a right click option.

It only works under XP, though

That's exactly what I thought. But I don't see that option.

I'm running XP Pro and 10.0.146.

Any ideas?

Thumbnailing won't work on some types of files.
