I have one MP3 that won't play with MC.
« on: July 18, 2004, 08:46:38 pm »

I have an mp3 thay will play with WMP and MusicMatch but when trying to play with MC I get the following error.

"There was an error starting playback.

Make sure that your system has a valid sound playback device and that it is properly configured in playback options.  "

The mp3 is 74mb at 192 kb.  Any ideas?   All other mp3's play fine.

Thanks

My biggest MP3 file is 163 MB and it plays OK (MC 10).

The file can be damaged even it is working with some programs. Possibly it is a header thing. Where did you get it? What encoder was used? If possible try to rip/encode it again with MC.

After alot of work.  MC is now playing that mp3.

I finnally had to use MC to burn the mp3 to an Audio CD then rip the CD back to mp3.
