Media Jukebox/XP System Sounds Conflict
« on: July 30, 2004, 01:51:48 pm »

I'm using Media Jukebox 8.0.400 on a Windows XP Pro System. Shuttle AN35N-Ultra motherboard with onboard audio.

When I launch the MJ program, certain Windows sound events stop working, like the click heard when navigating through folders in Windows Explorer, or the click heard when clicking links in Inernet Explorer. There's probably others. I like these sound events. The only way I can correct the matter is to close the MJ program and then reboot the PC. It is extremely annoying.

Because I used XP System Restore prior to installing Media Jukebox, I am able to know with certainty that it is the installation and more specifically, the launching of this specific program that causes the problem.

Any ideas to fix this?
