I use MC extensively for managing my MP3 collection and iPod integration.  A great piece of software for this purpose.  The rest of the features (Photo management, video player, etc.) simply don't meet my needs.   For this reason I am using a variety of software on my HTPC taking a somewhat best of breed approach.  

Long story short...Are there any alternative lightweight clients for accessing my MC media server on client PC's?  I'd like to access my MP3's through MC's catalog rather than going directly to disc mostly because I'd like access to the playlists.   I don't have a Tivo capable of HMO, but a client which offered the same features would be perfect.
