Tile view was a nice addition at the beginning of MC11 development, but since then nothing has happend any more.

I like this feature a lot as it allows to easily display user defined fields and one gets a lot of information displayed at a glance in contrast to column view where you have to scroll left to right all the time.

Right now it has two flaws:

1) The images do not display any longer (at least on my 3 MC11 installations)

2) It would be nice to have different tile views for the different media types, or even better making it view scheme dependent.

As the 3 features tile view, track info and image playback captions are very similar, a common management tool for those views would be nice.
