OT: SVG and Elegance
« on: September 21, 2004, 04:37:55 pm »

Kurt Cagle has a great blog entry about SVG and elegance:  http://metaphoricalweb.blogspot.com/2004/09/svg-and-search-for.html.  I mention this here because SVG was discussed recently and I was thinking of someday soon writing an XSLT that took the library and charted statistics such as count bars, pie charts, etc as SVG.

What will the list look like, what parameters would people like to chart ?

I was thinking a bar chart with playcounts of the top twenty songs.

Or a pie chart of genres.

Always wondered about playcounts, if you use random won't that affect the accuracy of playcounts since it has not been requested per se.

Random is a nice thing to have for certain genres.
