Burning Order
« on: November 04, 2002, 08:49:53 am »

Dear Media Jukebox Braintrust---

Call me an idiot. but i am a fairly new user and have figured out how to set playlists. however, when i try to burn the playlists (as mp3 files)on my CD-R in the song order of the playlist, it never burns it in that order.

i also tried removing all categories so that the songs would not be automatically ordered according to some preset order, but this did not work either...HELP!!!!!

regards,
jonathan

mp3 are files and like all Windows files,0-1-a-b-c-d is the order.
You are not the only one who would like to be able to burn not with a-b-c.. rule.
If you burn a real playlist-i mean songs not albums- you have to put 1-2-3 ...in front of each song. For album the same in front of album name.
A really pain in the ... as you can see.
I do not know of programs who burn as you want.Maybe Media Jukebox 9 will have it

Only if what ever your playing the disk on can't use playlists. The *.m3u (WinAmp) format is as universal as playlists get.
