A couple of days ago I installed v11.0.91 on both my home and office machines.  Both of them already had v10.0.115 installed.  Ever since then, when a track in v10 (I've tried over 50 tracks and each and every one of them caused the same problem) is exactly 8 seconds from the end of the track, a dialog box titled "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" shows up with the following contents:

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.  Please contact the application's support team for more information.
There is an OK button but not the usual Debug button.

If you ignore the dialog, Media Center keeps functioning just fine.  If you press OK, Media Center terminates immediately.

This problem happens on both my home (Win XP) and office (Win 2K) machines.

Media Center v11 does not receive this error on either of the two machines.  Initially I thought this problem only occurred when I was debugging my aTagger plugin on the home (Win XP) machine (I almost always get an exception when I'm debugging and a exit Media Center).  Since I have no source for aTagger at work (and have not done any debugging from there) I ruled out the Visual Studio 2003 debugging as the problem.

Try reinstalling the latest MC 11.

Also, what type of file are you playing?

I'll reinstall the latest MC 11, but currently MC 11 plays fine, it is MC 10 that is having the problem.

I'm playing MP3s.  My entire music library is MP3s so I don't have anything else to test with.

Upgrade your MC 10 to the one on this board.  There have been side-by-side improvements since 155.

Also, try disabling plugins if that doesn't help.

When I upgraded to MC 10.0.173 the problem went away (at least on my work/Win 2K machine).

I have installed v173 but the issue persists on my machine. It appears everytime I shut down the application and sporadically while playing files. ?
