Ripping problem with WMA Lossless
« on: October 16, 2004, 07:13:19 pm »

I have been using MC10 for several months now.  In the first couple of weeks after getting it I ripped over 100 CD's in the WMA Lossless format.  I have not ripped any CD's in quite a while but sat down tonight to rip some.  As soon as I click on the "RIP" button MC crashes.

I have tried other encoders and they work fine.  I have tried reinstalling MC10.  No luck.

It is hard for me to pin down any changes I may have made to my computer since it has been a couple of months since I last did any ripping and there has been a lot of changes since then.  The only major thing I can think of is that I installed SP2.

I would be forever greatful if someone could help me out with this.

There was some encoder changes for wma..

The changes screwed with MC, and they have fixed this in MC11. No word if they are gonna implement the fix in 10 yet...

Thanks for the reply.  Were these changes part of SP2?
