Cannot Sync to other PC using UNC

I am trying to sync selected tracks to another pc on my local network.  I did a Drives & Devices > Add Device and specified the device as:  \\otherpc\music ... using win explorer I can see and create files/folders from my source pc to this folder; but, when I try to do a sync in MC the sync progresses but the Status column shows Error for each track and no tracks are copied.   What could possibly be wrong?   Is there a detailed log somewhere?

OK I got it to work by mapping a drive letter to the target pc.  But I would rather use a  \\somepc\music  pathname - shouldn't that be possible?

Are there any plans to fix MC to be able to sync to a UNC path like \\somepc\music   instead of having to map a drive?

Sorry for the bump, but I would like to know if UNC will ever be supported when Sync'ing.

UNC works with the latest versions, I think starting from 166.
I synched to my notebook using a path like \\mynotebook\media.
So just upgrade to the latest version.
