DM crashed again but this time it didn't loss my queue. The problem is that it restaured the queue with a lot of files already downloaded.

This problem is still happening to me too. I have been looking for a pattern to the crashes. I can't find one, it just likes to die occassionally and restart with the old download list.

I just watched it crash.

Applications I had open:

Media Jukebox 8
MJ Download Manager
Eudora Pro 5
Macromedia Dreamweaver
Internet Explorerererererererererer (1 browser window)
Color Wheel Expert

This is what I saw happen.

Was watching the Download Manager maximized. It was at 99% download of track, went to name it and it crashed. I think always seems to crash at this point. The master High Webl (another MJ user) observed this same problem on his dual xenon multithread hyperspace workstation. He believed he detected a memory leak where MJ Download Manager is using the memory of another program and when that program goes to use its memory, MJDM crashes (or something like that, we were also talking about Jason Mewes and golfing, so the details aren't so clear).

Even without the load of programs, it will still do the crash. This is really frustrating because their doesn't appear to be a way to save your download list or export it to a file. ?

So super programmers of the great state of Minnesota, what do you think is causing this?

Thanks,

Nick LeFave

I figured out why MJDM crashes. It doesn't like me, that must be it. This is just frustrating when it crashes. This time I only had two ie6 browser windows opened. Closed a browser window and MJDM decided to close too.

It seems to me (but I am not sure) that disabling "brower integration" is safe.
