ok I forget exactly what I did but I was trying to clean my library out. After I re-did the library I noticed that some of the songs won't play. but they are still in my main mp3 folder. can't fig out why they won't play in any media player now
help ?

I've got a whole range of questions for you.

So if you navigate to them in Windows Explorer they are there, but they won't play?  Have you tried double clicking on them to play them from Windows Explorer (in whatever Media Player you have associated with mp3's)?  What are the file sizes?

If they won't play in MC, what error message does MC give you?  Does MC show the red "X" overtop of the file's icon in the library (which indicates that it can't find the files).  If so, you may just need to re-import the files.  Also, which version of MC are you using (you can find out the version number by going to Help --> About Media Center)?
