Full export of a playlist and other features ...
« on: November 24, 2004, 12:11:42 pm »

Hi,

I just downloaded MC a few days ago and before buying it I would like to know there is (furture) support of certain features that I can't find at the moment. Those are:

- A full export (playlist + media files themself) of one or more playlists to a local folder (outside of of MC), to a USB stick etc...
- Does MC recording module support ACPI to wake up the computer when a recording is scheduled?
- Does MC support "real" audio recording like: Providing an interface for a radio module of a sound card or for a "radio card" (if there is any available?) to be able to record audio shows from radio like tv shows from tv. (I am not interested in web radio recording features).
- Does the MC support Audio recording from a TV device?
- When will MC support WinTV PVR (350)?

Kind regards!

I can answer this part.   Yes in Media Center 11.
Go into Tools>Options window and in the "Handheld" settings.
Click the button for "Configure remote and fixed drives for detection".  Then add the drive letter of the memory stick as it is referenced in Windows Explorer.
Obviously your music library is larger than what will fit on the memory stick, so you will need to create playlists that are limited to that size restriction.   Then when you sync to the device, you will sync that playlist only.
