3 or more CD players set up to Rip
« on: January 26, 2005, 02:54:54 pm »

I want to rip a large collection - all 3 cd/dvd burners were seen by MJ - how many more would be supported - or any other ideas/software?

As many as you can hook up(I believe). I have 4 Ext. & 2 Int. , and am thinking of getting 1 more Ext. as they are way faster than my int.. Couple things:

-I think you can only do 4 encoding processes at any one time.
 - The screen view upadate(?) in MC11 really sux when ripping alot of CD's at the same time. I am not sure why?(tag updating/saving process swithching around?).

Also, I get better ripping speeds using Rip/Encode on the fly when ripping with all drives. This seems to be the oposite of what others see. Give it a try, I can average9x- 13x with all drives ripping in secure mode. Enjoy....
