I was Playing Around With Chart Finder Today And Change The FTP Control In It.

If you Try It Let Me Know If It Works For You.

This Control May Fix A Problem With Some Of My Plug-Ins From Freezing Up.

If It Does Work Better I Will Add This FTP Control To The Other Plug-Ins

I cannot get it to work.  Whether I try auto batch or manual it says it's getting data but never returns anything. I've used Chart Grabber to make sure the songs are on the charts.  What am I missing?

what is the artist name and the song name as it is listed in the media files?

what is the time and your IP address at the time you ran the program (i can look it up on the logs)

if it is a new song then chart finder will not find it because it works with data from 1900 to like 2004

I have some newer data files but they need to be converted so chart finder can use the information, and that is not going to happen anytime in the near future.

Result It Worked.

i think the problem was you maybe missing a folder called: "\InUse\" that is under the folder chartfinder was installed in. if you do not have this folder it may not have been created..

i just uploaded a new version that will create that folder if it does not exist.

3.0.6 Fixes A Bug When You Do Not Have All Charts Selected, it did not work correctly

Just using 3.0.6.  I'd like to add 30K tracks to playing now and just let it run but I only want to search the UK chart and if nothing is found on there I will search the billboard chart.  I can't find an easy way to do it without actually sitting with it and acknowledging all the messages that pop up.  Is it possible to do this?  If not this would be a nice feature to add i.e. a list of the charts that you can enable / disable and place in your order of preference.

Thanks for the acknowledgement.  I'm just letting it run on 'all charts' at the moment.  If you ever manage to enhance the plug in I can go back over all the non-UK ones and run it again.  Cheers King.

you can always edit the allowed list, it is plain text, and in the plug-in folder
