gIRder support?
« on: October 27, 2002, 06:27:36 pm »

Is there any support for gIRder remote control?  I know that IRman  is supported, but IRman doesn't work well with my IR repeater system.  gIRder on the other hand works great!

Yes, there's a plugin on the plugin page, remote control section, and you can download exported groups from Girder.

I wouldn't bother with the Girder plugin, if I were you. Everything it can do, there's a keyboard shortcut for. I run MJ and Girder quite happily just using keystrokes

Hello,

I use the Keyspan IR device to control all of MJ operations. It works great and very easy to configure. It is an external IR keyboard mapper device and can be used for lots of applications. It's DMR interface is very easy to setup, if the included apps don't match what you want to use it for....it's $49.95 at CompUSA...Check it out at
