DSP effects aren't working with wave files.

The DSP effects like EQ and "subwoofer" aren't working with WAV files.  The same effects work fine with mp3's of the same songs.  I tried both "Wave" and "Direct Sound" for the output, but it made no difference.  I also tried stopping/starting the songs.

I'm using MC 10.0.173.
