No secure rip report - why?
« on: October 27, 2002, 06:22:04 am »

I've just started to RIP my CD-collection. I'm ripping using MP3-VBR/High and Digital Secure. To speed things up I decided to use two PC:s. On my main PC everything works fine. When a rip is finished I get a pop-up showing the result of the ripping. If any tracks had errors, how many re-reads that were required etc.

However on my second PC I don't get the report. I can't find anyplace where the report is selectable so I don't know why it isn't showing on the second PC.

First PC is Win XP - Pioneer DVR-A03 DVD-burner
Second PC is Win XP - Memorex CD MAXX 52x CD-ROM

No, not the version, just a stupid user. I found it. There is a DVD and a CD in the second computer. I assumed that. when i selected a drive clicked RIP-CD and under options selected Digital secure, the command should affect the drive I was ripping from. But you have to select drive manually. So I just had to select Digital Secure for the E drive and not the D drive that came first.

I've spent several hours trying to find the problem, testing with another drive etc. Now I feel really stupid......
