encoding mp3 to wma for portable player
« on: December 22, 2004, 11:06:49 pm »

I would like to convert some mp3's to wma for my portable device.  I want to take mp3 that are 128 or 192 and create a batch of wma songs at 64.  The latest version of MC11.161 appears to only allow wma 128 format?
Am I missing something?  What do I need to do?

TXGary,

Do you not see a combobox that expands and shows other conversion bitrate selections?

Yes, there is a combo box, and I select 64, but when I say ok, it does not report as windows media 64 it reports as windows media 128 and actually convert to windows media 128.  Not this moring I brought up 10 and did my conversion. After that I brought up 11.161 and it is now reporting windows media 64.  So maybe it works, just a reporting thing.  Sorry to have reported this...
