King Sparta -This one's for you
« on: January 16, 2005, 09:23:01 am »

I have thousands of song with album art stored in the tag. After pasting it in the tag I delete the jpg file. I just re-installed everything on my computer and re-imported my music into MJ8. When I played my music the wrong album art came up with all the songs. In fact, it was the same handful of album jackets over and over. I went to properties, removed the image and the problem was solved. The correct image didn't get deleted but it solved the problem of the wrong arbitrary art. The statement under the image in the properties box changed from "Location: Linked to external file "folder.jpg" to Location: No image(s). What happened?

What I meant was this: When I copy a file to a new harddrive the album art is arbitrary. If I open the properties, go the the image page and click remove, the correct album art appears. When the wrong album art was displayed, the writing under the image says the file is stored on folder.jpg. After I click remove, it says the art is stored in the file, which is where it should be.

If you can help or know someone who can I'd be most appreciative.

Thanks anyway. I bought and tried media center and found it had a lot of things I didn't need. For my purposes, I prefer MJ

The guess the album art is no big thing now that I know how to fix it. However, it seems very strange.

Thanks, again
