Reloading Media Jukebox
« on: October 26, 2002, 09:02:17 am »

I had to reformat (total restore) my hard drive due to a virus. All my music in MJ I had previously recorded on CD's. My backup of MJ failed to reinstall MJ 7.2, so I have installed MJ 8.0. All my MJ data is on v. 8.0 ( How did you do that ? I thought it was lost.) But I have no music on my hard drive. My question is: How do I install my CD music on my hard drive C so that it can be accessed from the Media Library, with all the song information matched to the hard drive music?  ?

if your talking about data cd's

why don't you just copy it with Microsoft Explorer.

explorer.exe

or import the files from the cd using MJ, and then copy them to the hard drive.

if they are audio cds you need to rip them
