After trying several expensive video editing programs that were completely unsatisfactory I decided to try Windows Movie Maker which was already on my new Dell computer. It is much improved over the previous version I tried. However it doesn't support dvd burning but Sonic MYDVD (also already on my computer) will convert the files and burn the DVD. Quality is surprizingly good. With these two programs and Media Center my editing problems are solved and it saved me buying another $100 program
