MC11 randomly crashes on deleting files. I cannot find a pattern. Today I selected a playlist for rating 1 (my delete tracks) I selected all the tracks, held down the shift button and selected the DELETE button from the upper tool bar.
I selected the 3rd choice to delete and remove the files from the HD. The files disappeared from the list and then moments later I got the Sorry MC has a problem....
The music continues to play until I clicked OK and then MC shutdown.
On restart, the files are GONE from the HD as expected, but the entries still exist in the library, with little red icons by the tracks. Sometimes I can simply delete these tracks from the library, other times that causes another crash.
The only way I know to really remove these deleted tracks from the library is to do an IMPORT which removes entries that don't exist on HD.
This problem has been going on for months with MC11. Anyone else?
I do have my library in a non-standard location on a different HD.
