Playback speed
« on: February 28, 2005, 09:25:05 pm »

Either my life is getting slower or I accidentally changed something to make all my music play back faster...  Can't find any player settings, so I wonder if this is a feature(!?) or issue...
I'm getting this on 10.173.  has anyone experieinced this?

Check DSP studio, and try updating your sound card drivers.

Otherwise, you may have just drunk too much coffee.

Ha Ha !  I cannot see any settings within the DSP dialogues that relate to pitch or playback speed.  (I really have not had too much coffee.)  I just tested playing the same files on one PC versus another.  My laptop works fine, but my desktop plays 17% faster.  Makes Oasis sound like a bunch of girls...
