Is it possible to sort by track number in view?
« on: October 20, 2002, 01:43:34 am »

I want the tracks on albums to have the correct sequence when I play them via Webremote, but that seldom happens, since I can't find a way to sort albums by track numbers. When I go into the album or play the album from Webremote, the tracks comes into MJB's playing now in a random order. Do I have to defragment the harddisks and sort the files after filenames? Or won't that help? In that case I need to find a program that can sort files alphabetically, since the regular defrag under WinXP does not...

If it matters, I use the Web Remote 1.7 plugin made by B. Sweet and D. Ellison.

Is it possible that you have the Shuffle option turned on?

Nope. Been there, checked that. And this only happens when I use the Webremote, not when I choose a playlist by numbers (all my cd's are in numbered playlists so I can call them from a remote control).
