More than 125 channels?
« on: March 14, 2005, 01:52:03 pm »

Hello,

I've set Mediacenter to autoscan my cable-television and it comes up with several stations with their respective channel-numbers. Point is that several of them have a number higher than 125 and when I want to change the name from channel xxx to a real name, it refuses to accept a number higher than 125. Can I change this setting somewhere?

TIA

You should have no problem with more than 125 channels in MC 11.

Yaobing - thank you. But since version 11 has not been released, yet, I would be grateful to learn how to enter a channel with a number higher than 125.

TIA

You are saying that you can scan and retain channels higher than 125, but just not able to rename it, right?

For MC 10, try editing this registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JRiver\Media Jukebox\Properties\TV Channels

(Start->Run..., and type regedit in Open: box, and click OK. Navigate to the key above).

The channels are saved in the key as string values, with names like "Channel ###". You can edit the names.

Yaobing,

Thanks a lot, found it and will give it a try!
