I am using MC11 on a system connected to a large screen TV, about 15 feet away, with a wireless keyboard. This keyboard, while fine for simple operations, is not the most comfortable for complex operations, like precise drag & drop, or following deeply nested menus.
It is particularly awkward when, say, building a playlist with a friend. You make a selection, then in order to add it to the end of the playlist you either have to:
1) drag & drop to the last line of the playlist (ie fiddly target) or
2) use the Send To menu, which is usually nested at least 3 deep, or even 4 deep
What would solve this is an "Add Here" button. This would sit in the playlist window in the Action Window, and would add the current selection to the playlist. (The same mechanism could be used for CD burning and handheld sync). The "Add Here" button would sit next to the drag target (in fact, it could be the same).
So the process would be:
a. Open the playlist in the Action Window
b. Make a selection in the library
3. Press the "Add Here" button to add that selection to the playlist
No long drags, no need for precision targeting, no nested menus.
