default image for cover art display and album thumbnails
« on: March 31, 2005, 04:14:27 pm »

hello

i seem to remember that in a previous version of MC i could specify a particular image that would be shown in the 'cover art' display for albums that i don't have cover art for yet, but i have forgotten how to do this.  could someone jog my memory please.

also, would it be possible to use this image for albums without cover art in the album thumbnails view?

thanks

nick

I think it's C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center 11\Data\Default Art\logo.png

Try this:

C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center 11\Data\Custom Art\NoThumb.png

ok, i have succesfully changed the NoThumb.png image in the data/default art folder to display a different image for albums without thumbnails, but still having no joy with the cover art, i.e. i would like the image also to be displayed in the 'cover art' display when i am on the 'playing now' screen
thanks

Copy the .png and change it to .jpg. Then use the smartlist to find files with no cover art, select "all" and then link them to the .jpg.

Sometime last year someone did some artwork for "no cover art" and posted them here.
