can i use gif files for cover art/thumbnails?
« on: April 03, 2005, 11:31:19 am »

hi,

i have some cover art saved as gif files that i would like to use in MC11 for album thumbnails/cover art, but when i put the images in the relevant album folders and get MC to find cover art nothing happens.  the rest of my cover art is jpg files, and this works fine.  can i use the gif files in the same way as the jpg files?

thanks

I have cover art images also in GIF format, but perhaps I have linked them manually.

Select the album files > right-click > Image > Add From File...

You can use irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/) to change from gif to jpg or just about any other format.
