Machines connecting using library server cause the files not to be useable while dragging and dropping them to other applications.  I like to use Library Server to have my other machines see playlists I create on the machine running library server.  I search for media servers and connect no problem.

The problem is when I drag a song out of MC11 to use it with another program (unfortunately mc can't do everything), the other program cannot find the file because mc11 is passing some long url to the other program instead of the original network drive share letter or other windows network addressing convention.  Is that referred to as a 'flat url', I don't know.  Maybe that's a upnp server term.

I never planned for drag and drop to work. The files are transferred via
http, not via shared drive or windows networking, so I'm not sure there's
anything I can do. Sorry,

MC11 attaches this network ID prefix e.g., 'm01p://192.168.0.56:8088/Z:\Little Walter\1957-1959\One Of These Mornings.mp3'.

Can't you put the prefix 'm01p://192.168.0.56:8088/' in its own column on the display separate from the filename path - Z:\Little Walter\1957-1959\One Of These Mornings.mp3 so other programs can process, easily, just the path and filename.

Please add to the wishlist anyway.
