I have the same remote.  So, the first thing you need to get is an IR reciever for your computer, the one I have is the USBUIRT.  Then I used the learn function to teach the Omega the commands from a different IR remote control.  Then you just need to make sure you have the USBUIRT plugin for Media Center, and then setup the remote in media centers options to do whatever you want.  It works great for me.

well you obviously need some kind of receiver for your PC...

you could get one of the remote extenders - which convert IR to RF and then back again, so you could use an IR receiver on the PC.

I don't think you can get just RF receivers for the PC though - it's not quite like IR.

Of course if you had a remote that was designed for the PC (like the ATI RemoteWonder) then it would have come with the necessary receiver in the first place.

yes but that's ir.. my computer \office is in a diffrent room? that route wouldn't work..would it?

Then of course you need to send the signal as RF to your computer.  Omega makes an RF base station, I believe the MRF-250 is what will work witht the remote you own.  It recieves the RF signal from the omega and then transfers it out as IR signal.  It could either be set up so the USBUIRT and the Omega MRF-250 face each other, or it also comes with 6, 10 foot IR emitter cables that could attach to the front of the USBUIRT.  If you already own the base station, and it is not located near your office, you could buy another base station or route the IR signal through an RJ45 cable that is contected to an IR reciver, but I am not sure on the details of that one.

I hope that helps some
