audioscrobbler plug-in unable to handshake
« on: May 06, 2005, 12:07:25 pm »

My audioscrobbler plug-in (v. 0.2) has been unable to handshake with the server for a couple days now. Each time the plug-in tries to submit a song here's what I get in the info window:

"Unable to handshake: sleeping..."

Am I the only one having this problem or did they recently make some changes at audioscrobbler.com?

Lisa,

thanks for the heads-up. I just downloaded the WMP plug-in and it doesn't work either. You guessed right then and the MC plug-in is not at fault. Let's wait and see...

The problem is that it is run (or at least adminstrated) by students, so their time is torn between Audioscrobbler and study.

Perhaps, once they graduate, they will be able to give it their full attention.  Until then, it's going to be bumpy, which is a shame, because it is a wonderful idea.
