Zone-specific mjextman commands
« on: May 18, 2005, 02:16:14 pm »

Hi.  I'm trying to automate a few basic command (play, pause, stop, ...) for a particular zone so I control them from the command line with mjextman.exe(now "Media Center 11 Launcher.exe).  I read the doc:

http://www.jrmediacenter.com/DevZone/MCCommands.h

and from that I though that to send a pause to zone 2 would be:

Media Center 11 Launcher.exe /MCC 50341648,0

since 50331648 + 10000 = 50341648.

But this doesn't seem to work.   I've tried putting in different zone numbers, etc... but I just can't get it to do anything.  Are these commands no longer supported in "Media Center 11 Launcher" or am I just doing something wrong.  Thanks.

Keep in mind that zones start with number 0.  Try 33564432 instead.

No luck.  I've tried starting all my zones and then issuing pause commands of that form to zones 0,1,2,3,4,5... nothing responded to any of them.  The only thing that works is /MCC 10000,0 which pauses one of the zones (I guess that's the current one).  Has anyone had success with this?  Maybe the numbers I'm adding are the wrong ones.  I'm just on a regular 32 bit Windows XP system, though.  Thanks.
