The only job I've got for MC10 (so far!) is to convert LP's and cassettes into .wav files via a Maya EX USB device.

I did this last summer on a different computer, and was able to produce burned CD's that could be played on a normal CD boombox and which were also recognized by iTunes when I went to add them into my iTunes database for iPod purposes.

I recently downloaded MC 10 on my new computer, and have been using it for the first time since last September.

The CD's I'm burning now won't play on my boombox and I have to go through contortions to get tracks added to iTunes (import the entire mega-MB .wav CD, then convert it to AAC -- hassle.)

I'm importing into MC10 as uncompressed .wav files, and burning the tracks via the "drop files here" box.

This set-up used to work -- I just tried playing some of last summer's burned CD's on the boombox and in iTunes, and they work just as well as they did then.

Have I forgotten a crucial step?  Did MC10 change in the interim?  Would upgrading to MC11 help?

In short, what am I doing wrong?

I guess you burned data CDs.

Yup, that was the problem all right.

I didn't notice that that box was a drop-down menu until just now.

Everything's working great now, THANKS!
