The issue is only going from wav files at 1536 kbps to wav files at 1411 kbps. All settings of buffer currently cut into the previous (1536) track and start the new(1411) track equal to the buffer setting.
True for both Output modes: Wave out AND Direct sound.
Switch tracks: gapless
Seek: Gapless
Stop: Immediate
Just tried it with Switch tracks: Standard (gapped), at settings of .1 sec and 10 sec (in addition to the 5 second buffer. Track still cut out 5 seconds early, and then observed the appropriate silence, .1 sec and 10 seconds.
As for DSP's, soundcard output is SB Audigy (DC60).
True when equalizer set to custom EQ Or flat eq
FX: Concert Hall/2
Virtual Subwoofer (none)
Surround field: wide
Overflow Handling: Clip Protection
Replay gain: track based, + fixed adjustment +5dB
Output format: 32-bt/Source/Source (per your recommendation for DSP headroom).
Thank you for your help, Matt.
