Recursive Importing ?
« on: May 27, 2005, 12:48:33 pm »

I'm pretty sure I used to be able to use Import Media to bring in files recursively.  Basically, I'd like to be able to just import things from "My Music" and "My Videos" and every subdirectory would be handled.  Is this an option that will be added later ?

Your using MC10?

If so, this was added in 11. If you have 11, please indicate the version #, as this should already be there.

No, I'm using 11.0.276.  (Probably 11.0.278 in about two minutes.  Just noticed it's been released)

When you click on import, you get a box,
THere's a button called add folder.... Add your folders ,

C:\Music
E:\Pic

This will search anything in C:\Music and all it's folders.

Is this not that way it works for you, Or am I just misunderstanding you?

Yeah, it works as it should.  I, being a fool, was importing videos in the wrong media mode and missing them as they came in.  Thanks for the help.
