Haven't downloaded .283 yet, but in .282 I have been updating library from tags.  It goes through the entire process, which takes like 30 minutes, then MC just quits, nothing gets updated.

I've tried it 3 times now, once after a system reboot, nothing else running.

If I run a smaller batch, it works fine.  I'm currently running a 2000 file batch.  It'll take a while.  I'll let you know if it works. :'(

Deleting zones doesn't
« Reply #4 on: June 04, 2005, 01:37:27 pm »

Using the player zone manager if you delete a zone it only takes it out of the list.  it doesn't actually delete it.  That is, if you add a new zone one of the previous deleted ones come back, NOT a new unconfigured one.

The later revs seems to have some really mysterious problems with zones.  The problem seems to have cropped up around .242.  I've got five audio devices.  One's on the motherboard, two are creative mp3 usb, one's a creative extigy usb and the last is a LinexFM transmitter.  MC11 doesn't want to properly understand how to remember which zone is on which device.  It's very hard to debug this because it's inconsistent.

This is a bad thing, for me anyway, in that zones are the sole reason I'm using MC11.  If these don't stabilize then it's been a waste of a LOT of time, not to mention money.

When fade out on stop/pause is enabled, this causes the program to lock for a the fadeout during shutdown. Makes more sense for the program simply to close, fade only on when you press stop/pause.

Possible bug: I imported several hundred Mp3's, all had cover art that MC11 read and created thumbnails for. I played the files and the cover art came up perfectly in the Trackinfo visuals. I then selected the imported files and did an Audio Analysis on them. After completion all of the image art in the files was deleted. The thumbnails remain in most cases but the art is no longer in the Mp3's. I then have to repaste the art from the internet or where ever.

MC 11.0.283--
Icon functionality in library seems gone.  Missing tracks will not show as red X-things.  Everything shows blue eighth-note pairs.  This has been gone for a while and you've probably already said something about this and I missed it.  Or maybe there's a button I'm missing.

The media Scheduler functionality is broken. It was supposed to wake me up today as it always does with a playlist of music, but since this download, nothing happens. I havent changed anything.

plugging an ipod (its a 60gb ipod photo) in while MC is in mini view (amped skin) then returning the view back to standard (opulence (SC) skin) results in the window becoming invisible. the only way to get MC back is to close it down from task manager or the task bar and reloading it.
