Hi
When I play a CD the file stays on the Library Browser, consequently when I play music from a playlist from that artist that is also on the hard drive the file from the CD is there as well and MC tries to play, it but can't. This is most annoying because I have to phsically delete these files from MC . I never had this trouble before on previous versions. Is there some box I can check or uncheck to prevent this happening.

You should try updating to build 286.

Maybe that will help.

For your advice one or the other or a combination of both have done the trick. I think it was checking the Automatically Import Files was the likely culprit.
