How to get 2 diff views in split view

Maybe I'm dense, but how do you get playing now in one pane and library in the othe when using split views? I just get "library" in both. What am I missing?

But it's not possible to have the playing now of two different zones here, right?

MC12, guys (or MC 11.1). 
Views you can isolate and lock, so that the search window doesn't keep throwing you around.  "Playing now" that stays put.  Multizone playing nows, and my personal favorite:  Vertical split views, for dual monitors.  And why not a title bar for each window?

How about some indication of which view is active?

This could save a lot of mouse clicks and aggravation.
