Changing File Properties
« on: October 09, 2002, 06:04:02 am »

When ever I try to change the properties of a file I get the message "failed to change file tags because tagging is not checked or file is read only etc. Yet when I click okay the file is updated okay. Is this just a bug?

I've seen this before, too. Usually because the file has indeed been read-only. I've noticed that in such cases it will make a copy of the one your editing, removes the Read-Only attribute, and save changes in it. So what your seeing in MJ is the copy, not the original.

For example:
You have a file called Iron Butterfly - In A Godda Da Vida.mp3, the copy will be called Iron Butterfly - In A Godda Da VidaXXXX.mp3
