I have a Prodigy 7.1 card with optical SPDIF out to my amp which has the decoder hardware builtin.  When I try to play a dvd in MC, I usually get no sound; fiddling with some options, I get a lot of white noise and bleeps which sound a lot like the DTS synching step.  The only way I can get MC to send sound is to decode into 2ch stereo...

Has anyone successfully been able to play DVD with MC in full DTS or Dolby surround natively?
