Okay, I would like to get some kind of remote control for my laptop & MC. There are a million remotes out there that work with PCs, but of course none (that I've seen) specifically mention MC.
I looked at the plugins page, but with names like X10 and USBIRT or somehting like that, I couldn't match those plugins to an actual device for sale.
So I know lots of people have these and use them. Can someone make a recommendation?
Couple of notes: I have an iPaq 2215 PocketPC which has IR, so if there was a way to just use that and get it to work with MC, that would be fine.
I'll be moving soon and I expect to be in a pretty small place, so I think IR would be fine (that is, I don't really need RF 'cause I can be within sight of the laptop).
Mostly I'd use it for music, but I'd use it for DVDs and for looking at Photos, too, if it worked well (or even worked with another program).
