« on: October 07, 2002, 12:26:07 pm »

Hi, i usually don't rip many cds and since i upgrade my system to a Atlhon XP i haven't do so, i tried to do it yesterday and i have a problem saing "Drive not Opened" i have two scsi drives and none of them work, so i check if the digital playback work and for one the HP it work but for the Plextor it didn't.
I don't know what the problem is, i change some parameter in buffer method but none work.

I need some support here,

Thanks,

First things first.....

1.) Are the drives hooked up correctly? Are all the SCSI ID's unique?

2.) Do you have the latest ASPI drivers? MJ has internal ASPI drivers, but those are for it's own use, you need the system wide drivers (v7.1 from Adaptec).

Verify your drives are working by reading/writing some disks

3.) Make sure your current on all service packs (Win 2000 is at SP3, XP @ SP1).

4.)  If your good on all the above then try MJ again. If no go then uninstall then reinstall with latest MJ (Bld 8.0.382).
